It’s time to Get Out, Enjoy Life as SPORTS `N SPOKES, the Spina Bifida Association and Cure Medical bring you Summer Tour 2017
It’s summer and that can only mean one thing … It’s time for the Get Out, Enjoy Life contest. This year’s theme is Summer Tour 2017. We’ve got a host of new accessible destinations, two new contest partners and an entire month to get out and enjoy life.
For our return contestants, you’re probably wondering why we’re running GOEL later than usual. Yes, you’d be right. This year we wanted to give coverage to our SPORTS `N SPOKES Junior Athlete of the Year winner, Jason Robinson. He recently became our 35th winner and will appear on the cover of the September 2017 issue of S`NS. Well, what about GOEL? This year’s winner will get our November 2017 cover and wrap the year in style.
Joining us this year to help us get out and enjoy life is our long-time friends at the Spina Bifida Association (SBA) and SPORTS ‘N SPOKES. We’re happy to have them along on our adventure and hope you’ll take some time to hit them up and show some love.

We officially “hit the road” during the month of August for our seventh consecutive year in search of accessible destinations, new hot-spots to explore and adventures to uncover, and as always, you’re invited to play along.
But, we hope you’ll get on board and share your favorite summer activities and accessible adventures with us for a chance to win some big daily prizes. You’ll also have a chance to land the cover of the November 2017 SPORTS `N SPOKES, win a custom-built Colours wheelchair or a brand-new Apple iPad.
Over the years we’ve received hundreds of photos from around the world of your adventures of accessible hiking, extreme chair skating (WCMX) and bungee jumping – to name just a few.

Each day, beginning August 7, you’ll find an accessible destination, event or organization listed on the S’NS, SBA or Cure Medical Facebook pages. When you comment on the postings, you’ll automatically be entered to win the daily prize.

The Get Out, Enjoy Life – Summer Tour 2017 photo contest kicks off August 1 and runs the entire month. We want to see the places you visit and the sports and recreational activities you enjoy. At the end of the contest – August 31 – three grand-prize winners will be selected from those who share pictures of getting out and enjoying life this summer.
So, what do you win? Three winners total will receive the Get Out, Enjoy Life Prize Pack that includes an the Get Out, Enjoy Life – Summer Tour 2017 T-shirt, a few carabineers and a copy of the latest issue of S`NS. We may even toss is a few prior issues of S`NS.

First-Place Photo Winner
The first-place photo winner will receive a custom-built Razorblade wheelchair courtesy of Colours Wheelchairs, the Get Out, Enjoy Life prize pack mentioned above and based on photo quality, the cover of the November 2017 S’NS issue. Winning photos that do not meet our production and design resolutions will be placed in the Final Frame section of the magazine and the winner will receive a two-year subscription to SPORTS `N SPOKES magazine.
Second-Place Photo Winner
The second-place winner will receive a 32 GB Apple iPad with WiFi courtesy of Cure Medical, a complimentary one-year subscription to SPORTS `N SPOKES magazine, the Get Out, Enjoy Life prize pack mentioned above and their winning photo featured in the Final Frame of the November 2017 issue of SPORTS `N SPOKES.
Third-Place Winner
Third-place winner will receive a $300 gift card courtesy of At Home Medical, the Get Out, Enjoy Life prize pack mentioned above and their winning photo featured in the “Spoke of the Week” module on sportsnspokes.com.
